Hiya! I was wondering if everyone sticks to a routine? I do love a routine and my baby does sleep better if she naps in the afternoon for a few hours.

However, I am lucky enough to have a few supportive people around me that are often only free in the afternoons. Should I not plan anything in the afternoons? I do get a bit lonely then but I want my baby to have a good sleep, but I don’t want to lose my friends! Plus I think I will have to go back to work in a few months and my childcare won’t necessarily stick to a routine.

Any advice on what worked for you? I know I’m probably overthinking things!

I love my routine with my bubba.

As for your friends, if you get baby to have the same nap time each day you can plan to go out with your friends after or before baby's nap and know that when baby starts to get tired that's your time to leave.

I'm sure your friends are fine though, knowing that you have to put baby's needs first they won't cut you out if you don't see them.
