Did anyone suffer badly with hyperemesis gravidarum? My baby’s seven months old and although I’m no longer sick it’s always on my mind and I’m still struggling with the mental side of it.

Oh you poor thing! I can understand the anxiety you have completely.

You must remember that what you went through was temporary and because of pregnancy. There is absolutely no reason why it should come back. You almost have to rewire your brain to think it’s ok, nothing is going to happen, and you’re no longer pregnant.

The fact you don’t like certain foods anymore is common after pregnancy so I wouldn’t worry about that. Perhaps your GP can refer you to get a few sessions with a psychologist for your anxiety?
