My baby is two and a half weeks old but is constantly crying. It's not a normal cry it's more like a scream! Any tips on how to deal with PURPLE crying or ways you found to soothe? Thank you.

My girl is only four weeks old and I get the same thing sometimes, most of the time it’s colic so there isn't much you can do to help.

I would start using colief drops with the feed, that’s what we did and it helps get wind up and stop tummy aches they may have.

My girl gets unsettled between seven to 10 every day without fail and I think that’s just to do with witching hours, I would look into that if you haven’t.

Skin to skin can help calm them. Or a dummy. Or holding them close to your chest and patting their bum, sometimes they just need extra comfort from us.

I completely understand how you feel though, I still have to deal with it as there’s no real sure fire way to fix it. Just know you’re not alone. And hopefully it calms soon.

You can try to lay the baby on top of your chest... It will calm her and she'll feel your warmth and hear your heartbeat for comfort. I hope this helps.

Your baby might have a colic issue. Try to make him burp properly and do tummy massages and exercises to soothe him. You can watch a video on YouTube. Also give him infacol anticolic drops before feed.
