My baby is a wriggler and is waking himself up in the night as he wiggles his way to the left side of the ‘next to me’, hitting his face off the side. I’m not sure how to prevent it happening as when you move him before he has woken himself up, this either wakes him or he wiggles his way back and wakes himself.
He’s normally a great sleeper and this is affecting both of our sleep. He doesn’t seem to wiggle as much in the Moses basket during the day but the room is small and couldn’t accommodate both the ‘next to me’ and the Moses basket, do you think sitting the Moses basket within the ‘next to me’ would be safe?
Maybe when he is in the Moses basket during the day he might be staying a lot more still because it’s not completely silent. Maybe you should try white noise or baby lullabies at night time. Also a sleeping bag for babies will help but remember in summer you’d have to get a low tog one.
