Hello, so my six and a half month old has been on veggie purées (homemade) for about two months now. He demolishes them. We have now tried to make meals and then blended them but he is having none of it! Shepherds pie, veggie curry, chicken and courgette mash and fish pie. They are slightly thicker with teeny tiny bits. I don’t think it’s the texture though! As soon as he tastes it he winces. Same with puréed fruit! HELP!

Hi, sounds like your little boy loves his food! Have you tried just combining veg purée flavours? Like carrot and potato together, etc. Maybe he's not quite ready for exciting flavours yet?

Also, my little boy is really weird with textures and would never eat anything with puréed mince in it. To be fair, it is quite a grainy texture. I know you don't think it's texture but might be worth exploring smoother dinners like you said. The other thing my little boy loves are roast chicken dinners and they are quite tame flavour-wise!
