My child grunts a lot in her sleep and randomly cried then goes back to sleep. I suspected this is due to colic but I’m not sure what I can do to help her sleep well at night. She’s a premature baby born at 35 weeks but is now almost three weeks old.

My child also grunts a lot in her sleep, nothing has come of it though, she's just a noisy baby! Random crying whilst sleeping has only started recently but it takes us by surprise! It's over as quick as she starts though so I don't think it's an ailment, more likely something to do with her dreams as she also makes laugh noises even though she's only six weeks.

My little boy cries in his sleep, I’m pretty sure it’s wind. Try laying her on her front on one of your thighs, let her legs dangle down in between yours, and hold her head with your hand. The pressure should help get some more wind up or ease the pain. It’s awful having a colicky baby, I hope this helps.
