How did everyone cope with the transition from one to two kids? I have a two year old (just turned) and about to pop with baby number two any moment now. We speak about the baby but I don't think she understands. Any tips/advice would be welcome.
Not sure this is what you're looking for (I've got a just-turned-three year old and expecting number two), but I heard a tip on a podcast the other day that I really liked (the lockdown Parenting Hell podcast!). They were saying about how you're always telling the toddler to wait while you do something for the baby, and they suggested also sometimes telling the baby that they need to wait while you do something for the toddler, to make the toddler feel better - even though obviously the baby won't have a clue what's going on!
