Hi, I'm noticing a significant decrease in my little boy's appetite at the moment. He has gone from draining a 6-7oz bottle easily to maybe only having 3-4oz (if not less). He is teething and apparently going through sleep regression and developmental 'leap'. Is this decrease in appetite normal? Should I be concerned?
Hey, it is quite normal for appetite to change a lot when they are having these leaps and teething. If it persists for a while and he is dropping weight, then definitely speak to the GP.
Is he still having six bottles through the day/night? As the sleep pattern changes it might be that you can move the bottles around a bit to have less bottles but larger amounts. However all babies have different patterns so he might just be finding a new pattern that works for him.
