My little boy is five and a half months old and I think he’s teething. He has all the symptoms except the visible signs! His gums are hard but they don’t look like there’s anything there. They’re not red or swollen or anything, but he’s biting absolutely everything so hard and drooling like a fountain. He also has red cheeks and is irritable. This list goes on! Has anyone else had similar experiences? Is it normal for him to have all the symptoms but no sign of teeth? I’m a first time mum and don’t know what to look out for!

I'm no expert but I would say yes, that's totally normal. All the signs point to teething by the sound of it. My little boy is about two months along from yours and his teeth are only just cutting the bottom gum line. Despite having had all the symptoms for what seems like ages. We used Bonjela Junior Gel to help soothe any obvious discomfort but loads of people swear by the Ashton & Parsons Infant Teething Powder. People also advised me to put his teething chew toys in the fridge but he actually really didn't like that so I hope you can find a way between you.
