Hello, I have recently found out I am four weeks pregnant. People have said I shouldn't be bending, squatting, etc, in this implantation stage. Would you advise against all exercise with me being so early?

Hi! Unless you have been advised otherwise by a doctor, there is no reason why you can’t bend or squat or continue as usual with exercise and general activities. The rule of thumb is that you shouldn't take up a new sport or exercise in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Just keep doing what you were doing. If you run, run. If you rock climb, keep rock climbing.

I would advise no extreme exercise. You should not be so out of breath that you can't talk easily, and don’t get too hot. But otherwise try not to worry about it too much. Though I do understand, the early days are always worrying until you have your first scan.
