I'm finding it difficult for my six month old breastfed baby to settle without me. I have an 18 month old and I start back at uni full time in September. I don't think she has a great routine at the moment, she just naps whenever and wherever. Currently she wakes anywhere between 7 and 9am and has a couple of naps with the last one around 4pm. She doesn't go to sleep until 10pm most nights and then three or four wake ups a night. Please help!
I hear you! My little one will only settle with my boob too. Gosh, two under two and uni. You are amazing!
So, to start with you could try and get little one to bed earlier and then wake up same time every morning to start a little routine. This will help with when you start uni too. As I guess you will all need to be out the door by a certain time.
Do you have support with bedtime? Or are you putting both to bed? I really do hear you and understand the juggle. I have three littlies now but I did have two boys 18 months apart! Everyone has different routines and you will find one that works for you and your family.
I would choose what you want to focus on to start with… like bedtime and morning and the rest will follow. When you start in September, she will fall in to your pattern too. Emma, the Tinto sleep consultant really is amazing and will be able to offer you some support too.
