I'm looking for some sleep training/self-soothing methods that work well for breastfed babies. Mine is nearly seven months old - she wakes up about six times a night and I have to breastfeed her back to sleep. I really want to teach her to go to sleep on her own but I don't know where to start.

My baby is the same age and wakes up the same amount. I found myself stressing a lot when reading up about sleep training and how my baby should be self-soothing. But then I came acorss Lyndsey Hookway and I feel so much more relaxed knowing that it's really rare for babies to self-soothe. For many people, their baby will just manage to sleep through the night one night, seemingly out of the blue. So don't pressure yourself to sleep train at all.

Have you tried soothing music or nature sounds? There are some great playlists on Spotify which worked a dream with our daughter. We bought an Alexa speaker so you can control what plays (and when) through your phone.
