My daughter is 13 months old and doesn't answer to her name at all. I know she doesn't have hearing problems because she whips her head round when she hears the theme tune for her favourite show. Should I be concerned? I haven't been able to speak to my health visitor about it.
I wouldn't be. I can't remember how old mine was when he started responding but I think he was still learning at 13 months. You could try saying her name a lot in general chats. Perhaps when she's eating you could say her name and point to her food, then say 'mummy' and point to your food. That helped with mine!
